Cottonwood Idaho

This summer we had the chance to go with Marc for a month on a rural rotation. We first went to Cottonwood ID which is about 7 hours north west of Pocatello. We had a great time, they put us up in a house for two weeks, we went swimming, had an airplane party, played the arcades, and just spent time together as a family. We loved the Cottonwood area and the people were so kind.

Jordan's First Fishing Trip

This summer we went and stayed at our friend's cabin up Weston canyon and my parents met us up there with Dawson, we had such a great time. We had hot dogs and smores that night and the next morning we took Jordan on his first fishing trip to Devil's Creek, he really liked it but he got a little bored after awhile because none of the fish were biting. I think we will try the hatchery next time!

Summer Preschool

This summer we decided to try Summer Preschool at our home, it was so much fun! I am not sure who had more fun the kids, or me planning the activities. We had it one day a week for 8 weeks, and there were 6 kids ages 4 and 5. Jordan loved it! It was so fun to be able to see Jordan interacting with his friends, and learning his letters too. I am so proud of Jordan and feel so blessed to be his MOM!

Jordan's soccer team!

Jordan started playing soccer a couple of weeks ago. He really enjoys it and loves his shin guards! The first couple of games were pretty cold so towards the end of the game all of the kids were ready to be done. We are excited that they have opportunities for three and four year old kids to be able to get involved with sports and make new friends. Jordan you are such a good little soccer player and mom and dad are so proud of you!

January Fun

We have had some fun adventures in January. Jordan went to his second dentist appointment and he is still in the no cavity club. We are so proud of you Jordan for taking such good care of your teeth. We also have been making cupcakes and cookies to get ready for Valentine's Day. I was able to go to Utah and spend a day with my sisters, my cute niece Savannah, and my very cute and sweet niece Tayler. My sister and I took our grandmas out to eat and we loved it. It has been a fun and very busy January.

January Fun

We have had a fun January so far. We first celebrated it by Jordan becoming a Sunbeam! He loves Sunbeams and really likes his teachers. Then it was Marc's birthday, the big 29! It was fun my parents and sister came up and we had dinner and his favorite German Chocolate cake with the homemade icing. Then we spent a Sunday night making Valentine's day cards for grandma and grandpa and Aunt Angie. I love my boys! They are the best!

New Year's Eve

We had a great New Year's Eve. Jordan and I started the day off by going to Tremonton to go sledding with Dawson and Grandpa Jeff, they had a blast! Thanks Grandpa! Then we came back to Idaho and had dinner with Marc and started making a cake ( Jordan thinks that every party needs a cake) so we made a cake for our New Year's Eve party then Marc got called into work to deliver a baby so Jordan and I ate cake and drank dt. coke and played Ants in the Pants! It was a great New Year's Eve and I am so thankful for my little buddy Jordan, I love him so much!

Christmas Day Fun

We had such a wonderful Christmas day. Marc's parents came up to our house on the 24th and we made Fruit Cake and had a yummy dinner, we then watched Ernst Saves Christmas which is a family favorite. On Christmas morning Jordan was so excited Santa had left him the Geo Trax airport, a computer, stove, and lots of other fun things. We were so thankful to be together as a family this holiday season.

Christmas Fun

We have had such a fun Christmas season. We have been in Utah for the annual Kent family Christmas party, which is always fun. My dad takes us all to Maddox and then we go and see the lights at Willard after that we go back to Mom and Dad's for our gift exchange. It is always so fun to get together and watch all of the kid's faces when Santa comes through the front door of mom and dad's. We have also been making Gingerbread trees and going to Marc's work party and our ward party. What a wonderful time of the year!!!!

Family Pictures

Last weekend we went to Utah and got our family pictures taken with my side of the family. It was a lot of fun trying to get 8 kids to smile all at once, but our photographer did a great job. These are some of the pictures I took off of her website, I am so excited to get my cd. Our photographer was Amanda Laing, she is awesome.
